The couple has been living separately since before the arrival of their child. After she refused to follow an Arizona court's decision that prohibited her from giving financial aid to her child, custody issues became even more tense. That was despite her husband's income of 10 million dollars each season. The mother filed for child support and custody rights in California as her husband made the move to Los Angeles Lakers in 2012. Then he strongly retorted, affirming Los Angeles was not the ideal location to raise kids. He further stated that she's going to lavish her children with everything expensive. Then, he declared that he wouldn't give any money to his ex-wife and covered all of her expenses. He also covered the expenses of his former medical partner's education in addition to the children of his nanny and children. However, in 2016 it became apparent that both of them had left their homes without any grudges.
